Member Driven, Global Board

IAASSE South Asia (India) members play a direct role at every level to shape the future of the association in South Asia. The highest governing body is, the IAASSE Executive board that comprises of President, Vice President(s), Committees and Coordinators. The Executive board is accountable to the members and has supervision, control and direction of the affairs of the association. It actively pursues the association’s mission, determines its policy within the limits of the law, Bylaws, and Articles of Incorporation. It upholds the IAASSE Code of Ethics and supervises disbursement of the association’s funds.The Executive Board develops the strategic plan and direction for the association under the guidance of the association bylaws approved by the IAASSE.The board recommends and implements policies and programs with specific intention to benefit its members, and the public in general.

The IAASSE Members on the Executive board take IAASSE forward with varied expertise, strategic leadership skills and a deep understanding of the communication profession. The executive team oversees full-time, part-time, and temporary employees dedicated to support IAASSE initiatives

Professor Pramod Kumar Mishra teaches in the Computer Science Department, Banaras Hindu University. His Research Interests include: Parallel and Distributed Computation, Computational Complexity, Parallel and Clustered Data Mining, High Performance Computing, VLSI Algorithms.

Rajiv Misra Associate Professor Indian Institue of Technology, Patna, India

Vice President

Dr. Rajiv Misra received his PhD from IIT Kharagpur and currently working as an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at IIT Patna. His major Research Areas are: Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Big Data Computing, Adhoc Networks and Sensor Networks

    There is an increasing number of IAASSE chapters across South Asia. Each of these chapters organize a series of technical events that provides interesting technical content and networking opportunities.

    IAASSE South Asia (India) Chapter supports local members, focus on its members' needs and provide unique opportunities like attending conferences, publishing research papers, creating connections, accessing critical research, allowing them to share technical, professional interests and establishing a personal networking system in the specific country.

    Regardless of location and size, IAASSE South Asia (India) Chapter members comprise from academia, research, business, and industry. They have the right to sponsor state‐of‐the‐art conferences, conduct workshops, and publish their own newsletters.
